About Anh Schlingman, ASW
Languages: English, Vietnamese
I help adults and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions develop clarity, emotional balance, and effective coping strategies—with culturally responsive care.
I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker providing individual and couples therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and use an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s needs.
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I collaborate with clients to better understand patterns of thinking, emotional responses, and behaviors while building practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and lasting change.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Vietnamese, I provide culturally responsive care and support clients navigating identity, family expectations, and cross-cultural experiences.
I have experience working with individuals and couples who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally depleted. I offer a structured yet compassionate space to improve communication, gain clarity, and develop more sustainable ways of coping.
