Welcome to a new beginning in your journey toward healing and growth. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, powerless, or held back by unresolved trauma, you’re not alone. Trauma can obstruct our path to a fulfilling life, leaving us longing for change.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Trauma Therapist Certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), I specialize in addressing trauma-related challenges and enhancing mental health. My dedication to trauma therapy stems from its profound impact on healing, particularly for those dealing with complex trauma, toxic relationships and narcissistic abuse.

My therapeutic approach integrates EMDR along with techniques from ego state work, polyvagal theory, and attachment theory to foster a holistic improvement in overall functioning. This blend of methodologies not only facilitates emotional healing but also aids in developing new, healthy perspectives that enhance personal strength, enrich relationships, and bring joy and purpose back into your life.

My journey into this field began after getter clean and sober in 2007, which led me to dedicate my career to assisting others affected by trauma and addiction. With over sixteen years of diverse experience in settings like residential treatment centers, outpatient facilities, counseling centers and currently in private practice in Woodland Hills, I bring a wealth of knowledge and empathy to my practice.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University, a Master’s of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Trauma Specialization from Pacific Oaks College, and I previously held an Addiction Counselor Certification from CAADE.

As a Certified EMDR therapist through EMDRIA, I employ EMDR therapy to help clients heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences by re-establishing adaptive neural pathways.

Taking the first step towards therapy requires bravery, and I deeply respect your courage in reaching out for help. Together, we can navigate the path to your recovery and renewal.

the lotus flower

The Lotus flower is a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth.  It grows in muddy water, and it is this environment that gives forth the flower’s first and most literal meaning, rising and blooming above the murk to achieve enlightenment.
